CROCHET DIPLOMA presentation of samples and projects

Here are some of the samples I have completed for Level 1 of the Crochet Diploma course run by Pauline Turner .

There are 35 samples in all , 4 projects and then an exam, a research paper to write and a crochet diary to keep.

Below centre are some Filet Crochet samples-white on blue card- a sample where the stitch height moves from slipstitch through dc to quadruple trebles and a sample- navy/white - where 2 colour pattern is shown.

The next few samples -starting at the left below:these show a dc rib( blue variegated ) , textured trebles by way of bobbles in a deep royal blue, a lacy white fan stitch , 2 braids suitable for a classic jacket worked in DK yarn, a textural piece in pale blue using varied stitches, then on the row below: a 2 colour textural design working around the treble posts, triangles worked to or from the point in trebles and dc respectively , some net , a fanstitch square and a series of crocheted buttons.

On the right below are the first set of samples, worked in a DK yarn and a 4.5mm hook- mostly- the top row show trebles increasing in height: ie double treble, triple trebles and quadruple trebles from left to right in the pink.
Below that are trebles wirked in betweeb the stitches , normal trebles and a treble rib also al in pink.
The mint green sample is dc worked in a pure cotton DK yarn and a 4.5mm hook.

I can highly recommend the course for as Pauline is a strict task master you have to learn to crochet very neatly and properly and I have learned an enormous amount in the past 2 years!!!

I've just started on this course. I've submitted 15 samples so far and I'm really enjoying this course.
